The annual Baltimore Daughters of Rhea Recital is here! This year's show will feature guest appearances from Laila (direct from London), and Baltimore's own Lotus Niraja. Highlights of the show include: CANE DANCE, solo by Laila SWORD DANCE, solo by Piper SHADOW DANCE, solo by Laila VEIL DANCE, solo by Lotus Niraja FAN DANCE by the Niraja Dance Company - Modern Nightclub style TAMBOURINE DANCE by the DoR beginning group - Hollywood "Gypsy" style RAMPI by the DoR intermediate group - Turkish Folkloric style RAKS KAHTI by the DoR advanced group - American Proto-Tribal NAGOUA'S DANCE by the DoR intermediate group - Raks Sharki PHO PHARAONIC by the DoR advanced group - modern interpretation of Pharaonic style BellyPalooza will be held in Boston this year (contact melina@daughtersofrhea.com for info), so this may be your last chance in 2005 to catch Piper and the Baltimore Daughters of Rhea Dance Ensemble locally. With Baltimore dance sensation Lotus Niraja, and international MED star Laila, this is not a show to be missed! Tickets can also be purchased in class directly from Piper, or at the Oasis at Comics Kingdom, 3998A Roland Avenue Baltimore, MD 21211, (410) 889-6005. To pick up tickets purchased on-line, go to the Will-Call table at the top of the main staircase at the BMA. Vending, Will-Call, and box office open at 6:30pm on April 9th 2005. The doors to the theater open at 7pm. If you have purchased student tickets, please bring your student I.D.
